New Community Bus Service Launched for Aston Reach

22 September 2026

A new community bus service has been launched to serve residents of Aston Reach, improving transport connections for the growing development on the edge of Weston Turville.

The service was announced on 22 September 2026 by Weston Turville Parish Council, which has been advocating for improved public transport links for residents in the Aston Reach area for some time.

The launch follows concerns that the expansion of housing in the area, as part of the wider Hampden Fields development, had not been matched by adequate transport provision. The new service is intended to give residents an alternative to the car for everyday journeys.

Details of routes, timetables, and how to use the service are available from the Parish Council and from Buckinghamshire Council's transport team.

The council has also been lobbying Buckinghamshire Council for cycle routes connecting Weston Turville to Aylesbury, Wendover, and neighbouring villages, as part of a broader push to reduce car dependency in the parish.
