Jubilee Park Playground Upgraded with New Equipment
23 June 2026
The children's playground at Jubilee Park has reopened following a three-week improvement project that saw new play equipment installed and the safety surfacing upgraded throughout.
The playground was closed from Monday 1 June to allow contractors to carry out the works without disruption. Weston Turville Parish Council, which commissioned the improvements, thanked residents for their patience during the closure.
'Thank you for your patience while we make these improvements for all to enjoy,' the council said in its announcement.
The upgraded playground is expected to serve families across the village for many years to come. Jubilee Park remains one of the key recreational spaces in the village, and the parish council has indicated that maintaining and improving it is an ongoing priority.
The works were announced on 13 May 2026 ahead of the June closure. No further details about the specific equipment installed have been published, but the council confirmed both new play items and surfacing work were included in the project.
